In 2003, a friendship
was formed between two women whose
faith and shared beliefs brought them together. The
foundation of this friendship was their commitment
to God and their belief that prayer is a transformational
force in every person’s life.
Three
years later, a prayer conference in Denton, TX hosted
by Dr. Chuck Pierce, brought a thought to reality.
A teaching by Apostle John Eckhardt at that conference,
ignited a passion of prayer, a desire to release the
authority of prayer, the excitement of prayer and
the declarations of praying God’s word. This
teaching touched both Sherry and Brenda separately;
but, it wasn’t until May of 2006 at a breakfast
meeting, where they discovered the same message sparked
the idea to pray on the radio.
Their
desire was to extend prayer beyond the borders of
the United States.
After
research and divine connections, a door was opened
for a global prayer network and “Xtending Far
Beyond The Norm, a global 24/7 prayer network”
was born.
